Princess Booster

This utility patches Princess Maker 2 savefiles. The version of the game with which I am using it is Princess Maker 2 for DOS (English) where the executable PM2.EXE has a CRC32 checksum of 2340FD93. It might or might not work with other versions, and when it doesn't, the patched savefile will likely cause the game to crash.

USAGE: Run it in your Princess Maker 2 directory where your savefiles are located. They are the files called Fxxx.GNX, where xxx is the number of the savefile. The utility takes one argument, which is the name of the savefile.For example:

chmod +x pboost.py
./pboost.py F101.GNX

Or:

python pboost.py F101.GNX

A backup file named Fxxx.BAK will be created.

You can adjust your gold and stats by changing the values at the top of the script. The reputation stats ('Fighter reputation', 'Magical reputation','Social reputation', and 'Housework reputation') are not patched, as they are calculated from the 'social' stats and will be maxed when those are maxed.
